1) VERMILION – Point Of Return

The music scene in Nuremberg, Germany has been blessed with the emergence of a talented independent artist, Vermilion.

With their latest single, “Point of Return,” they’ve managed to create a unique blend of emo rock, post-hardcore, and metalcore that’s guaranteed to captivate listeners.

The anthemic, Europe-based culture-inspired sound is reminiscent of renowned artists like Bring Me The Horizon and My Chemical Romance.

They have taken elements from Metalcore and Alternative Rock to create an individual style that is very challenging to categorize due to the incorporation of elements from Kevin, Sebby, Konsti, Chris, and Asker.

One critic has even said, “Vermilion’s ‘Point of Return’ is a masterful fusion of raw emotion and expert musicianship that’s impossible to ignore.” The passion and energy in their music will undoubtedly appeal to fans of screamo, rock, and hard rock alike.

If you’re looking for a new artist to follow and support, don’t hesitate to check out Vermilion. Visit their website, follow the artist on Spotify, and like and listen to our playlist.

2) ETTIE – Miserable Life

ETTIE is an independent artist from the United Kingdom, London. She has released her newest single Miserable Life, which is definitely an alternative rock track with a hint of pop and emo.

With her pop-punk roots deeper than ever before, and the influences on this track coming from Blink-182 and Avril Lavigne, Ettie adds emo nostalgia to modern-day problems and brings them back to the past.

There are a lot of people out there who have had someone go out of their way to cause them pain in their lives. The single ‘Miserable Life’ is the catharsis needed for them all.

I would like to dedicate this song to all those people who have kept their heads up and manners in order during times of adversity, and spend 3 minutes thinking of that person before loudly and without judgement wishing them the same.

With this song, the old adage “don’t dish it out if you can’t take it” takes a turn for the better, and all that’s needed for this song to work is a room full of wronged people to scream it out and express how they feel.

Check out this song on Spotify and visit their website for more information about ETTIE and her new album! Also listen to our entire playlist, where this artist and many great ones are also featured, you won’t regret it!
