The nominations for the 2022 Heat Latin Music Awards have been announced, with Bad Bunny leading the pack with five nominations.
The Puerto Rican singer is followed by Wisin, J Balvin, Karol G, Greeicy, and Maria Becerra, who have each received four nominations, and Rosal*a, Christian Nodal, Carlos Vives, Nacho, Mike Bah*a, Justin Quiles, Blessd, and Tiago PZK with three.

Blessd, JD Pantoja, Bizarrap, Tiago PZK, Ryan Castro, Khea, Alvaro Diaz and Feid are among the 17 nominees for the award as best new artist. The musical promise award will be given to newcomers like Eix, The Change, and Kim Loaiza.
In 2021, El Alfa has crowned the best Dominican artist in the Premios Heat award for the second consecutive year. El Alfa will compete with Dominican stars Natti Natasha, Rochy RD, Chimbala, Kiko El Crazy and others for the title in 2022.
First time ever, the Heat Latin Music Awards will recognize an artist with a special award, “Trend Artist LosHeat.TV,” which honours an artist who is part of the platform and whose video has received the most views and likes.
The seventh annual awards show, which will be held in Cap Cana, Dominican Republic, will be hosted by Jorge Pabón “Molusco,” Ana*s Castro, “D*melo King” and Caroline Aquino.
