“Here’s The Thing” is the new EP by the emerging rock band Eve Casino. The band released the eight songs independently on their own label, Bird Theory Records.
With a more intricate & production value than their self-titled EP from 2021, “Here’s The Thing” crosses multiple rock sub-genres.
Eve Casino is a band that blends the rock, blues and soul of classic rock with the energy and attitude of alternative rock, which we just loved! Their sound is an anthem to the ache of being human, and they know how to make you feel it.
We can say their new album, Here’s The Thing, is a masterpiece. It mixes hard-hitting lyrics with classic sounds and rhythms, creating an experience that’s as familiar as it is fresh. It’s modern rock and blues in a fusion.

Listeners will now be able to enjoy the diversity of sounds the band has to offer. The group showcases multiple lead vocalists across its songs, as well as intricate instrumental sections and immersive guitar work.
It is true that there are a lot of amazing things to say about this album. However, some of our favourite things about it include the uniqueness and richness of its sound.
“Here’s The Thing” is one of Eve Casino’s most delightful and original writing pieces, which shows off a range of Eve Casino’s skills.
Having two band members employed at Enviyon Studios, the band was able to create the entire EP in-house from start to finish since two of its four members work there.
Throughout the album, listeners will find an eclectic mix of influences, from traditional 70’s classic rock to blues to even punk-inspired alternative textures, which can be found all over the album.
As a four-piece independent rock band from the suburbs of Chicago, Eve Casino is a well-known and liked band that consists of Ryan “Haggy” Hegarty (bass/vocals), Marco Obaya (lead guitar/vocals), Sam Skilnik (rhythm guitar/keyboards/vocals), and Chris Taylor (drums/percussion).
In addition to dabbling in genres such as psychedelia, blues, and punk rock, as well as drawing comparisons with a wide variety of bands from The Doors to Weezer to The Cars, this band makes no commitment to any particular form of rock music, preferring instead to embrace their diverse range of influences instead.
It is just a matter of checking out the band, watching their interview below, following them on their social networks, and finding them on Spotify now that you know a lot about them.
