Shyfrin Alliance’s Musical Journey
Shyfrin Alliance made an entry in 2025 with their new single, “Buddha Blues”. This is the first release from their second album, In The Shadow of Time. Eduard Shyfrin, author, businessman next to scientist, founded the project. It shows his talent, blending lyrics with melodies. Hear the sounds of “Buddha Blues”.
The new single came after Shyfrin Alliance’s 2024 debut album, Upside Down Blues. It featured rock blues along with ballads, filled with messages. Eduard Shyfrin wrote everything and his vocals added to the album’s success. Radio stations played it across the US, UK, France along with Germany as well as it had streams on Spotify. Time as a Healer: The Essence of Buddha Blues
“Buddha Blues” seems like a catchy song with its melody, guitar licks, piano, Hammond organ plus chorus. Like the previous album, this explores romantic themes in uncommon way, such as his next album In The Shadow of Time, which explores existence and divinity topics.

In The Shadow of Time shows Shyfrin’s plan to explore new views of God and Time, expressing these thoughts through music. Eduard Shyfrin talked about the album’s theme:
“I chose a tough subject: time. No one knows its nature. There is no definition. It was a challenge. I do not think an album dedicated to the topic exists. You will not find one. Each song concerns a different part of time. That is unique”.
Shyfrin captures the idea of time as a healer in “Buddha Blues”. He created the song after he heard a Miley Cyrus song many times one summer and voiced his unhappiness with pop music to his wife. This gave him the idea to write a blues song in minutes.
“There was this song I Can Buy Myself Flowers, it was famous, in addition to you could hear it,” Eduard said. “I told my wife this song would not last – this season it is popular, then it is forgotten. I do not care for simple lyrics. For me the lyric is important. I wrote lyrics, Buddha Blues, to prove I could”.
Shyfrin did prove it. Family praised the song, liking its premise. Eduard said the song’s message is: “It is about Time as a Healer. ‘Buddha Blues’ is simple: I am still on my horse, I am still driving my car, I am living my life. No worries no hard feelings. It is a Buddha’s approach. People do not understand Buddhism, that you should remove your desires, because desires are the source of problems. But this is too simple. What Buddha said is that you should remove your wrong desires”.
Shyfrin Alliance marks Eduard Shyfrin’s return to music. He studied piano in Ukraine, then worked in metallurgy plus business. But a life crisis made him seek purpose. This made him explore Kabbalah and science, resulting in his book From Infinity to Man: The Fundamental Ideas of Kabbalah Within the Framework of Information Theory and Quantum Physics. His changed mindset, research as well as life converged in Shyfrin Alliance.
