1) LOUCAS BRETZ – Hotel Melody
Loucas Bretz is a UK-based alternative rock singer-songwriter who has been gaining traction in the indie rock scene. His single, “Hotel Melody,” is an upbeat anthem that fuses soulful vocals with cinematic instrumentals that remind us of the classic soundtracks we love from our favourite movies.
A lounge-like, guitar-filled instrumental rock piece, Hotel Melody is an instrumental rock piece that mixes obscure melodies, groovy bass lines, groovy drums, as well as synthesizers, pianos, and strings for a fuller more orchestral sound.
It was written during the cold winter months to reflect the moodiness and was heavily inspired by the dark sounds found in Arctic Monkey’s ‘Tranquility Hotel Base & Casino’ and Serge Gainsbourg’s ‘Melody Nelson’.

2) SINGLE BY SUNDAY – Severed Ties
Single By Sunday, they were formed in 2015 by a group of musicians influenced by Blink 182, 1975, and My Chemical Romance, among others.
The renowned pop punk rock band Single By Sunday combine their energetic live shows with raucous guitars and an abrasive millennial attitude, whilst still maintaining a sense of the original Pop Punk attitude from the mid-eighties through their trademarked coloured hair.
”Sometimes, the best thing that can happen in a relationship is that it comes to an end. ‘Severed Ties’ seeks to explain why what was once an all-forgiving and loving situation very quickly became a hateful and very toxic affair. The trick was always to try and spot the cracks before they got too big but inevitably there was always going to be at least one casualty. For the sake of one’s own sanity and survival, sometimes the best thing to do is to just ‘Sever Ties’ and call it quits.”

3) YE ANGST – Sundown
Australian-based alternative rock band YE ANGST has recently released a new single named Sundown. The song is a passionate and energetic track that will have you dancing in no time.
Combined with a hard rock tune, the rip-roaring action-adventure ride is unmatched. Despite the Wild West references, our protagonist may also be any unlikely hero who fights for what’s right in spite of the odds that are overwhelmingly against them. In spite of the challenges, the group emerges triumphant and rides into a figurative sunset. Simply put ten to one, sundown.
It’s got a lot of power—the vocals are strong and clear, and the instrumentals are well-balanced between guitars, bass and drums. The track also has a great tempo that keeps things moving along nicely throughout the whole song.

The song is an easygoing tune with catchy lyrics and a classic sound that will make you want to listen over and over again. When the chorus hits, it’s impossible not to sing along.
