A Deeper Look at the Sound
For the first time ever, Enrage used a 7-string guitar in drop A tuning, which creates an extra heavy opening riff. Mike Pelle recorded everything at Big Goon Studios – named after London, his 100-pound weimaraner dog. The sound combines classic thrash roots, next to grunge influenced riffs to create this dynamic anthem.
PopHits.Co states: “The track establishes new standards in both hardcore punk or thrash metal. It sounds familiar but adds fresh elements.” The band explores new territory without abandoning its origins.
The lyrics focus on resistance, besides self-improvement. Each person experiences light or dark periods. Like day turns into night, the song reminds listeners that better times always follow difficult moments.

Musical influences include Slayer, Sepultura, along with Metallica. Fans should look forward to The Greys’ full release in April 2025, followed by live shows across multiple venues.
The recording at Big Goon Studios produced a really refined, yet aggressive result. Each note or lyric shows the band’s dedication to excellence.
