A quartet from Austin, TX, named Frogmouth creates buzz with their first full-length album “Identity Thief.” Known for exciting shows or hook-filled alt rock songs, the band establishes itself in today’s garage rock scene. A Talented Lineup with Diverse Rock Roots
Jay Ziegler joined as lead guitar in early 2023 after leaving Wild Tinderbox. His work helped form their sound, which led to the EP “Humor Me” in October 2023. Songs like “Bad at Talking” or “Not Listening,” mix punk with alt-rock. KUTX picked one track as Song of the Day.
Angus Barrs came in 2024, to play bass or sing. With drummer Jordan Goldman, they created nine songs that recall classic rock. Their music caught attention at places like Mohawk, Far Out Lounge, as well as Kick Butt Coffee, with memorable shows.
