1) MUMBO – Rollin’ Over
MUMBO is a UK-based alternative rock band with a great sound and a lively attitude. Their single, “Rollin’ Over,” is catchy, fun, and full of pop-rock energy.
The song starts with a guitar riff reminiscent of classic rock bands like Led Zeppelin or The Who. It’s a bit rough around the edges, but that’s part of its charm!
The vocals are solid and clear, with just the right amount of grit and rasp to give them personality without sounding overdone. The lyrics are cleverly written and tell an engaging story about overcoming challenges in life with a vibing rhythm.
Overall, this is a solid entry into the genre of “alternative rock” from an emerging band with huge potential! Check it out on Spotify, and visit their website to learn more about MUMBO and all they’ve gone on over there!
2) STUDIO D’LUX – Old School
This song is a great example of what you can expect from Studio D’Lux. The band’s sound is soft and soulful, but not without a little rebellion. It’s the perfect mix of rock and pop—you’ll be able to sing along with the chorus on your first listen!
Studio D’Lux is one such band, and their latest single Old School is a prime example of this style. The song has an upbeat feel and features catchy guitar riffs that will get stuck in your head for days!
The band is based in Verona, New Jersey, which makes them local heroes. You can hear their influences in this song: they have a bit of an 80s vibe, but with a modern twist. They’re bringing back the good old days while still making their own mark on the industry.
I highly recommend checking out this band if you are a fan of classic rock, yacht rock, or power pop music. Their other songs are just as good as this one! You can find this single on Spotify and YouTube.
3) THE HYBRIS – Impostor Syndrome
Impostor Syndrome, the latest single from THE HYBRIS is an anthem for those who have ever felt like they’re not enough.
The lyrics are incredibly relatable and will resonate with anyone who has ever felt like they’re not good enough or that they don’t deserve what they’ve accomplished. The artist’s voice has a deep tone, but it’s not too gravelly or loud—it’s perfect for this genre of music.
I love this song because it reminds me of classic rock bands like Pearl Jam and Nirvana–but with its own modern twist. It’s also got a very European feel to it, which makes sense considering the band is based in Germany.
‘Impostor Syndrome’ refers to a feeling we all know – that we are not good enough. You’re not good enough for your job, you’re not good enough for relationships, and you’re not good enough to create meaningful work. This is a dialogue between a friend and a well-meaning acquaintance.
A track with this level of clarity and crispness is not overproduced or polished to the point where it becomes dull.
You should check out their website to learn more about them and see if they’re playing anywhere near you! And also follow their Spotify!
4) GROUNDSTATE – Floating Away
When you hear the name Groundstate, it’s hard not to think of grunge, hard rock, and alternative rock. That’s because they are all rolled into one with this band.
Streaming platforms have begun to feature the new song “Floating Away” from Rock duo Groundstate, formed by brothers Aidan and Connor Smith.
This track is the perfect example of how Groundstate uses their passion for music to create something so unique and beautifully crafted. They are one of those bands that don’t fit into any one category—they’re just themselves, and they do what they want.
A track with this level of clarity and crispness is not overproduced or polished to the point where it becomes dull. Having instrumental breakdowns to break up the songs at the appropriate time adds a great deal of variety to the songs without feeling forced or extraneous.
I highly recommend checking out this track and following Groundstate on Spotify!
5) ILONA MAHIEU – Ribcage
If you’re looking for a 90’s alternative rock artist that has a unique sound and is based in the UK, look no further than Ilona Mahieu. The album “Ribcage”, an ode to introspection and harmful coping mechanisms, explores the darker side of female-fronted alternative rock.
It’s a journey of addiction and denial with Ilona Mahieu’s captivating vocals, accompanied by dreamy guitar soundscapes and powerful drum and basslines.
There is a stunning official music video accompanying this song, which is filled with engrossing imagery. Including makeup, bodypaint, and spray painting entire drum kits, guitars, bass and microphones in her back garden, this was entirely self-funded and produced.
An inner struggle between a person and their inner demons is depicted through contrasted scenes spread across two worlds, one dark, one light.
A track with this level of clarity and crispness is not overproduced or polished to the point where it becomes dull. Having instrumental breakdowns to break up the songs at the appropriate time adds a great deal of variety to the songs without feeling forced or extraneous.
Her music is available on Spotify and YouTube, as well as her website, where you can also find out about upcoming tour dates.
6) CHERRY BOMB – Pandoras Box
Originally from Frankfurt/Germany, Cherry Bomb released Pandoras Box as their first album.
Having grown their fan base naturally and slowly emerging from a regional band to playing festivals all over German and Switzerland, Pandoras Box already has some tracks that are well known.
In their pursuit of old-school 80s rock and reliving the lifestyle of these glorious days, Cherry Bomb doesn’t care about politics but has fun with clichées and a lot of self-irony.
Throughout the album, there are a lot of tracks that feature love hooks. Such as my favourite track from the album “Pandora’s Box”, which is obviously about a girl, it’s a song that it’s very well worked on. A track with this level of clarity and crispness is not overproduced or polished to the point where it becomes dull. It’s just perfectly made!
If you’re looking for something new to add to your playlist, be sure to check out Cherry Bomb’s album Pandoras Box! You can check out their website, and follow them on Spotify!

MODERN DAY OUTLAW has been released for a long time now. The band is from Tamarac, United States. The music of Modern Day Outlaw combines Blues, Country, and Rock & Roll.
As a result, they have created what they feel is a soundtrack for the hardworking individual living day to day.
“March of the Sheep” provides an outsider’s perspective on today’s divisive politics and their effects on society. Being neutral about opinions and shedding light on one’s own ability to determine one’s own opinions.
A track with this level of clarity and crispness is not overproduced or polished to the point where it becomes dull. Having instrumental breakdowns to break up the songs at the appropriate time adds a great deal of variety to the songs without feeling forced or extraneous.

9) GARY DRANOW – Something About You
Gary Dranow‘s new single, “Something About You,” is a song that will take you back to the 80s. You’ll be transported to a time when you listened to your favourite rock band on the radio and sang along with them.
The sound of this song is very reminiscent of the classic rock era, with its upbeat tempo and catchy chorus. It’s like a modern-day love song for all those fans out there who are looking for something nostalgic and full of nostalgia.
Based on his song Destiny Road, this song was written to tell the story of the international traveller he met and fell in love with on Destiny Road. As it turns out, that’s precisely what happened seven years after the song was written.
This song has all of the elements that make for a classic hit: catchy vocals, simple instrumentation, and an 80s vibe. It’s hard not to get stuck in your head after listening to it once or twice. I’m sure you’ll find yourself singing along before you know it!
If you’re into indie rock or love that classic rock sound like me, then this is definitely something that’s going to be on repeat for you. You can listen to it on Spotify, and visit his website also!
