Delta of Venus originally blossomed in a basement practice room in 1993, where Ellery Twining, Mat Tarbox, and Dawn Estabrooks grabbed unfamiliar instruments with the burning desire to create something unique. Fast forward to the present, and the band’s sound is an avant-garde exploration of shoegaze and indie pop, pushing boundaries with their current reimagining of musical composition.

Unfortunately, due to travel concerns, Dawn couldn’t contribute further, leading to the serendipitous discovery of new vocalist Issy, whose voice was described as “a gem” by Eric at The Floor. Issy’s immediate connection with the band’s sound adds a fresh layer, echoing Ellery’s refined songwriting approach honed from his solo ventures.
