1) BIRDEATSBABY – HEX

If you’re a fan of post-metal, avant-garde, or British-based culture, then you’re going to love Birdeatsbaby‘s latest single HEX.

A group of musicians called Birdeatsbaby combine elements of rock, metal and cinematic music into an original and striking sound, which is a perfect blend of elements from rock, metal and cinematic music.

With HEX, the title track of Birdeatsbaby’s forthcoming album, Birdeatsbaby showcases their latest infernal song inspired by texts such as the Ars Goetia, one of the most infamous of demonic texts.

In exploring the realms of post-metal, the band has created a sound that is at first celestial, but then quickly escalates into something that can only be described as a living nightmare once the song begins.

The main vocals of the song are provided by Mishkin Fitzgerald who alternates between ethereal melodies and menacing growls during the song’s course.

Garry Mitchell’s guitar riffs and Hana Piranha’s cello arrangements drive a hypnotic, polyrhythmic synth pattern. Anna Mylee’s drum arrangements would sit well with Tool or Porcupine Tree. Cage9’s Evan Rodaniche produces.

If you want to check out some more great music from Britain, we recommend checking out their website, or following Birdeatsbaby on Spotify!

Also listen to our entire playlist, where this artist and many great ones are featured, you won’t regret it!

2) HEAVY ON THE HEART. – Mr. Know It All

heavy on the heart. From Long Island, New York, is a brand new up-and-coming alternative rock band that has been making waves in the industry.

The band is based in Long Island and has a very strong US-based culture. The songs themselves are very melodic and catchy, but at the same time, they have an emotional depth that is truly unique.

That classic sound carries through in Heavy on the Heart’s newest release, which draws on influences from decades of rock history while still sounding fresh and modern.

It’s hard to find this kind of emotional connection in pop music today, where everything seems to be about sex or drugs or partying. While those elements do play a role in the band’s music, there is also something deeper going on here—something that will speak to your heart if you let it.

If you’re looking for something new to listen to, check out Heavy On The Heart on Spotify or visit their website.

Also listen to our entire playlist, where this artist and many great ones are featured, you won’t regret it!

3) THE SURVIVAL CODE – We Are Just Fooling Ourselves

The Survival Code is an alternative rock band from the United Kingdom, London. Their music is a mix of garage rock, hard rock, indie rock, and classic rock. The band’s lead vocalist has a unique voice that combines the intense sound of grunge with the melodic quality of power ballads.

As of right now, this is their fourth single of the year. As soon as those who heard their demos heard the song, it immediately became a favourite of those who heard it first.

”We have been working hard on creating the art, artwork, music, music videos in the house to deliver the most wholistic offering we could and think we have nailed it with our latest single.” – Says the band

Their latest single “We Are Just Fooling Ourselves” shows off their unique style and ability to write anthemic songs that are both catchy and emotional.

If you want to check out more tracks by this talented artist, visit their website or follow them on Spotify! Also listen to our entire playlist, where this artist and many great ones are featured, you won’t regret it!

4) MAGNA ZERO – The Great Nothing

If you’re a fan of classic rock, hard rock, and grunge, then you need to check out MAGNA ZERO‘s The Great Nothing.

There is element of progressive rock, desert rock, and post-punk in Magna Zero’s raw, psychedelic sound as it combines elements of progressive rock, desert rock, and post-punk into a swirling cauldron of guitars and grooves that drive the music forward.

With an impressive array of sonic variety, Magna Zero’s The Great Nothing is a thrilling, transcendental odyssey through the mystic void that ultimately lies within each and every one of us as a key to inner peace and joy.

The music on this record combines cosmic soundscapes with heavy psychedelic rock riffs to produce an experience that will take the listener into the unknown and back again. There are tracks that explode as well as a whisper, caress as well as shred, while hope for a compassionate future remains intact through it all.

You can check out MAGNA ZERO’s music on Spotify and visit their website. Also listen to our entire playlist, where this artist and many great ones are featured, you won’t regret it!

5) I FORGET MYSELF – Repine Forest

I Forgot Myself is a band based out of Hong Kong, and they’re here to rock your world.

Announcing the release of the long-awaited full-length album Repine Forest by an independent artist I Forget Myself, Forget Myself Records is proud to announce the release of the album.

There is a distinct alternative rock feel to Repine Forest’s work, based on a pop sensibility that is influenced by a variety of genres ranging from indie to electronic music, which has culminated in some of the most prolific, detailed and moving works he has created to date.

Their new album, Repine Forest, is an alt-rock pop masterpiece. It’s a perfect blend of alternative rock, indie melodic pop-rock, and hard rock—with plenty of male vocals thrown in for good measure. The album has an anthemic quality that will get you singing along with every track.

6) NO COFFIN – DCxPC Live Presents Vol. 15 No Coffin Live At Lou’s

“No Coffin” is a heavy metal band from Miami, Florida. They are known for their unique sound and style, which can be described as a blend of thrash metal and metalcore.

In 2022, No Coffin played over 160 shows, and for this year, they expect to do even better than that number, and they hope to show no signs of slowing down.

By mixing elements of swamp and doom metal with elements of hardcore and punk rock, they are carrying the flag of Florida’s tradition of bringing heavy metal to the world through their form of swamp and doom metal.

It was recorded live at Lou’s and captures the energy of one of the most popular diy metal acts to catch live in the world today, as it was recorded on this 12″.

You can check them out on Spotify or visit their website to learn more about them and see where they’ll be playing next!

7) HETEROGENEOUS – This Is A New Genre Called Static Pop

Heterogeneous, an independent artist from Canada, has released a new album called This Is A New Genre Called Static Pop. Heterogeneous combines all of the different genres on the alternative rock spectrum.

In keeping with the album’s name, this is a new genre of music that can be called static pop. Since it is a niche offering, those who are going to enjoy it will be the ones who will love it.

Instead of following in the footsteps of others and trying to dominate fields that are already dominated by others, he decided to create his own, unique, and exciting path for fans to follow that will be exciting and new to them.

This album was inspired by the idea of creating a new genre of music that sounded like nothing ever existed before, and that true music lovers would enjoy listening to so much.

In contrast, this album combines the abrasive, “in your face” sounds of noise, punk, and hip-hop with the simplicity and catchiness of pop music to create a completely new, unheard-of experience for any listener who hears it for the first time.

So follow their Spotify, visit their website, and check out and like the playlist that this artist will be featured on!

8) BEASTS OF ENGLAND – Kill The Joy

BEASTS OF ENGLAND is a band that you should be listening to, even if your taste in music is more on the alternative side of things.

They’re an alternative rock band based in London, UK. Their sound is hard rock with influences from noise rock and metal. They have a really unique style

The band’s sound can best be described as an amalgamation of rock genres like punk and metal, with hints of noise rock and alternative rock. If you’re into bands like NOFX or Rancid then this band will definitely be a hit with you!

Their lyrics are like a riot, which makes them very relatable to me when I listen to them, and it will be relatable to you also! Their lead singer has an amazing voice.

They have a crazy way of carrying themselves and talking to the fans (on the good side): ”The barbarity of your leaders who bartered your bliss for power. This made the beasts go berserk, bludgeoning your ears with their bombastic riffs and bestial death screams.” – They shout!

I think this approach is very interesting, and we are experiencing a band with unbelievable talent here, if you love screaming voices and screaming guitars this is for you!

Check out their YouTube, and follow their Spotify, they are also featured in a playlist that you can find on our Spotify, go listen to it also!

9) BAD ASS BEAUTY – Broken

In the world of alternative rock, there are not a few artists that have a sound as unique as BAD ASS BEAUTY. The artist, based out of Los Angeles, California, creates music that combines hard rock and soul to create an anthem.

When you ask her about toxic, manipulative, obsessive, controlling, abusive relationships, she can write a book about them, maybe a few years down the road she will do that, but for now, here’s a song about all of them combined into one depressing 3 minute and 28 second tune.

The song is heavy on the guitar and drums, but also incorporates soulful vocals and a catchy chorus that will have you singing along in no time.

”Don’t ask me for any love/relationship advice. I have no clue what a decent, happy true love relationship is because I’ve never had one.” – Says the artist.

There are plenty of elements that are dark, emo, uncomfortable, creepy…and it is vocally disjointed and linear in its execution. If you’re interested in checking out more from BAD ASS BEAUTY, visit her website, and follow her on Spotify!

Also listen to our entire playlist, where this artist and many great ones are also featured in, you won’t regret it!

10) GOOD GOD FATHER – Prince Of The Air

Good God Father is an alternative rock band from Sheridan, OR. Their music is a mix of grunge and hard rock with psychedelic and gothic elements, heavy metal riffs, punk beats, thrash metal solos and noise rock vocals.

‘Prince of the Air’ is a dynamic thrash metal anthem about the problems associated with evil as well as empire. We are taking a stab at a subject that has otherwise been dominated by the metal and extreme music genres for a very long time.

In regards to the theme of the Satanic and the demonic, and how those ideas affect the human experience, the track is intended to pull back the veil so that the listeners can see how the sausage is made.

There is a comfort that comes from this song to the tensions between the sacred and profane, holy and unholy, reverent and irreverent just to scream out, “I feel this pressure now.”.

It’s hard to believe that these guys are a small band; their music sounds like it could be played on the radio alongside some of the biggest artists in the world right now.

If you haven’t heard them yet, check out their website, or follow them on Spotify. Also listen to our entire playlist, where this artist and many great ones are featured, you won’t regret it!
