1) CLAY JOULE – NOTHING LIKE LOVING YOU
Clay Joule is a singer-songwriter band that combines classic rock and indie melodic pop rock into their sound. They are based in Secaucus, New Jersey
Clay Joule has established himself as one of the most awe-inspiring singers and songwriters of the rock genre. It is from the depth of his heart that he drives with passion.
He is also an excellent drummer and producer. Listeners, fans, and rock lovers can expect something fresh and ever-energizing from his every single/song.
A unique idea has been conceived by Clay Joule this time. By correlating Rock-N-Roll culture with pet love, he aims to highlight pet love. Taking a critical look at his latest release, “Nothing Like Loving You”, let’s see how well he succeeded in highlighting it.
The lyrics are very catchy and easy to remember, which makes them perfect for singing along with while driving or exercising! The melody is very uplifting and positive; it makes you feel like everything will be alright no matter what happens in life.

2) STORM BOY – It’s The Mess That Makes Us
Storm Boy is from Olympia, Washington and his latest single is an anthemic track that will get stuck in your head for days. The song has a catchy melody with some amazing guitar riffs that will make any listener want to get up and dance!
The Olympia-based artist has been making waves in the indie rock scene with their latest single, ”It’s The Mess That Makes Us”. This anthemic track is a perfect example of what makes indie rock so great: it’s raw, it’s real, and it speaks to your soul.
It is where desperation meets hope over a bridge woven with nostalgic and regretful threads that this song lies. As in this song, Storm Boy’s ”It’s The Mess that Makes us” seeks to lead with joy without abandoning sorrow in the first round of demos they’ve released so far.
This sounds like Ian MacKaye singing for the Sex Pistols.
The song itself is an anthemic rock tune–the kind of tune that makes you want to get up and dance, or at least sing-along. It’s got a catchy beat and some great guitar work, but it also has some emotional depth that sets it apart from other songs in its genre.
You can check out STORM BOY’s website! You can also follow them on Spotify.
3) LOOM – Wool
Loom is an indie melodic pop-rock band from Athens, Georgia. Their new album Wool is a collection of songs that are both nostalgic and edgy, with a catchy melody that will get stuck in your head for days.
Loom arose directly out of the pandemic, with Max Boyd writing and recording all instruments in Athens, GA, and Connor Smith writing and recording vocals in Portland, ME. The result was this album “wool”.
A rock album that draws inspiration from classic bands like Braid and early Weezer to more modern acts like Bugg and Dogs on Acid, with lyrics exploring philosophical and metaphysical depths of Being and Non-Being.
One thing that really stands out about LOOM is their ability to make songs sound different from each other even though they share similar elements
My favourite song from this album is ”a dull swim”. It reminds me of wheezer or Duster. It’s just amazing quality music, really well produced and mixed. The lyrics are so beautiful and you can feel them in your heart.

4) ROGER RICKS – Lost
Roger Ricks is a singer-songwriter from Switzerland who has been making waves. His latest single, Lost, is a throwback to 80’s rock and 90’s classic rock. The song has an anthemic feel and is super catchy with its classic sound. It’s got everything you would want in a hard rock banger: male vocals, classic rock guitar riffs, and an 80’s inspired drumbeat.
The song ”Lost” is a Charity Song and the proceeds getting donated to kids in need. Music can change the world and that’s the Mission of his Songs.
Roger Ricks explains that there is a meaning to the song he is singing: ”The Idea behind is: every stream is a small donation and you can donate money to children in need just by listening to music”
I think it is an amazing idea that Roger is doing this. Besides, the song isn’t even bad. It is really well written, the production is of amazing quality and the finished product? An outstanding piece of work.
The best part about this song is that it doesn’t sound like anything else out there right now–it has its own unique style that sets it apart from other artists in the same genre.

5) THE THINGS WE HIDE – Opposite Side Of Love
The Things We Hide are a melodic metal band from Italy, and they have just released their latest single. Is a band that has been around for quite some time, but they are still making waves in the alternative rock scene.
Their single “Opposite Side Of Love” is a melodic metal ballad with strong female vocals and an anthemic sound that will get you hooked right away.
Their songs generally deal with dark themes such as love stories, dysfunctional relationships, toxic behaviours, abuse survival, and loneliness. There is no doubt that the band’s strength is its diversity.
The Things We Hide has been influenced by many different types of music including industrial metal and classic rock. Their songs are full of energy and emotion which makes them easy to listen to for anyone who loves melodic metal or hard rock music!
The instrumentation is very good as well; there’s a lot going on here without it being too crowded or difficult to follow along with what’s going on in each part of each song (which is often difficult for bands who try too hard).

6) GAZ – Some Are Gone
GAZ is a Spanish rock band that has been making waves. They are based in Barcelona, Spain and have released four albums to date. Their latest single “Some Are Gone” is a classic rock anthem with an AOR sound.
The song is a classic rock tune with a modern twist. It’s got a great beat and catchy lyrics that will have you singing along in no time.
Bringing together the beats of the past with the uplifting sounds of today, “Some Are Gone” is an absolute delight to listen to. A fast-paced, toe-tapping, and wonderfully authentic ballad is supported by invigorating guitar riffs at the centre of the melodies.
There is something for every generation in “Some Are Gone”
The vocals are strong, smooth and melodic. They remind me of someone like Robert Plant or Roger Daltrey. The guitar riffs are also very catchy and well-composed. The drums add more power to the track and make it more dynamic.
Overall this track is great if you’re looking for something new from your favourite genre or if you just want to listen to something classic while enjoying some wine with friends or family!

7) DIALOGIC – Fall From On High
Tom Sykes, aka Dialogic, released the fourth single from his album Fall From on High.
The artist’s most recent single, “Fall From On High,” is a great example of what he does best: 80s-inspired rock pop with a touch of new wave, featuring smooth vocals and catchy guitar riffs.
This new wave track takes inspiration from the recurring dream of falling through the night, as well as the archetypal, sinister lullaby Rockabye Baby. The ‘cradle of mercy’ is the place where our lives fall down, down, down into the blessings and curses of gravity.
With its catchy guitar riffs and smooth vocals, this song will have you feeling like you’re back in the 80s with its new wave vibe. It features a classic rock sound with modern touches that make it perfect for both listening at home or dancing in your living room
You can’t help but feel like you’re listening to something straight out of an old-school rock radio station–and that’s exactly what makes it so great!
If you’re looking for some classic sounds from across the pond, then DIALOGIC is definitely worth checking out. Visit their website or follow them on Spotify to stay up-to-date with all their latest releases!
8) GARY DRANOW – Destiny Road
If you’re looking for a classic sound, but with a modern twist, then look no further than Gary Dranow.
Gary Dranow’s Destiny Road is a classic rock love song with a nostalgic sound. The song is about the struggles of being in a relationship, and the journey to finding your destiny road. The guitar work is excellent, as well as the vocals. It’s easy to get lost in this song and feels like you’re back in the 70s or 80s again.
Gary’s words about the song: ”I had a very vivid dream in 1996. I could see myself in a dream state in Emerald coloured hills far away. Also in the dream, I met a world traveller and we fell in love. I woke up the next morning and immediately wrote Destiny Road. In 1998, on a whim, I put my house in Manhattan Beach, California up for sale, and it sold in one day. I then flew up to Park City, where I have been going in winter for skiing as far back as 1970. But I had never been there in the summer months.”
Dranow’s single “Destiny Road” is one of those songs that will stay with you long after listening to it. The lyrics are heartfelt and emotional, yet still, manage to be upbeat enough that they don’t feel depressing or sad. The guitar work on this track is also really impressive–it has just enough grit to give it that rock ‘n roll vibe without being overbearing or overwhelming.
