Exactly three months ago, Waterside dropped their EP “Za Rokiem Rok,” a collection characterized by its robust rock sound. However, the lyrical and softer nature of “MINE” did not fit within the EP’s overarching theme. This realization led to the immediate decision to record “MINE” separately at the renowned Studio Hertz in Bialystok, Poland. Known for its sharp focus on strong sounds, this studio provided a fitting environment for Waterside to capture the essence of their song in the most authentic way possible.
In collaboration with MMP Studio’s Michal and Monika, Waterside brought the single to life with a minimalistic music video. “The video prioritizes simplicity and emotional rawness, highlighting Daria Ostapczuk’s poignant performance,” recounts the band. The video’s approach underscores the song’s themes and helps to create a seamless auditory and visual experience that captures the spirit of “MINE”.
“MINE” takes the listener on a lyrical journey of discovering love unexpectedly and feeling the transformative power of intimate connections. It encapsulates the warmth and optimism one feels when their life is touched positively by someone special. As the old saying goes, music is a universal language, and Waterside’s “MINE” speaks volumes, connecting deeply with anyone who appreciates the finer points of soft rock and acoustic rock.
Young music enthusiasts and seasoned rock aficionados alike are bound to find something enchanting in Waterside’s music. Their ability to weave together strong and gentle sounds within the spectrum of rock is a testament to their versatility and artistic vision.
