After SkyCall split in 2023, Duval undertook the monumental task of finalizing a nine-track LP, of which “Are You Ready Now?” is the third single following “Wendy” and “Amy.” Originally formed in 2019 by Duval and Luc Erwin from the band Tax Free, along with Didier Hoffmann on drums, the band experienced a transformative lineup change in 2021 when Amanda S. took over drumming duties. Though the band members have since pursued personal projects, Duval continues to wave the SkyCall flag high, composing, arranging, and performing the tracks entirely on his own.
Mastered at the renowned Sierra Studios in Athens by Alexandros Chrysidis, “Are You Ready Now?” delves deep into the theme of elusive love.
