2) BLUEBURST – Amplify Me
If you’re looking for a new artist to add to your playlist, I have just a suggestion for you: BLUEBURST.
Unlike the other bands in the scene, their sound is a lush, guitar-driven alternative rock that is unapologetically retro, wearing its 80s and 90s post-punk and alt-rock influences proudly on its sleeve, making them unique.
“Amplify Me” is a hard-charging heavy rock piece, dealing with human beings’ need to be heard, and the rage that’s created when they feel they aren’t.
In the song, the narrator is a young man who is feeling this anger, and by the end of the song he is on the verge of taking violent action. This song was inspired by the events surrounding the Summer of 2020, in which there was a lot of anger coming from every corner.
The first two singles they released, “Vanish” and “Supernova,” have been well received by critics, and the singles have received quite a few streams for a brand new and unknown artist such as them.

The band has a very US-based, quirky sound—think classic rock meets AOR with a twist of soft rock. It’s got that classic rock feel, but it also has some softer moments with some great vocals with both male and female vocals.

MICHAEL CHAP EDWARD is a singer-songwriter from Anaheim, California, who makes music that reflects his British-based culture and classic sound.
